Liz's First Peacthree Road Race
As a runner in Atlanta, it's nearly unheard of that I had never run the Peacthree Road Race, a July 4th tradition. That said, I have only been in town for the event maybe twice. This year was different, however, so Christa invited me to join her and I agreed with some trepidation. After all, running in the summer is just about my least favorite thing. "It's such a BLAST!" I've heard over and over, but hard a hard time believing. Until I ran it. It really was a great time - and that's despite some seriously steamy conditions! Not sure where the next July 4th will take me, but if I'm in town, I'm running it again. Possibly in a tutu.
